A Dorm Room Idea That Grew Into a Movement
It started when final-year students tried to sell their old textbooks before graduating. They posted on WhatsApp groups, got buried in noise, and eventually gave the books away for free out of frustration.
That weekend, the idea took shape: a dedicated, trusted space for campus commerce. No strangers, no spam — just students helping students.
Within three months of launching, over 800 students had signed up. Within a year, PU-Connect had processed more than GH₵ 500,000 in campus trades. Today, it's the go-to platform for everything from textbooks to tech, services to furniture — all within the university gates.
We didn't set out to build a startup. We just wanted students to stop losing money when they graduated. Turns out, we weren't alone.
